Jimmy E. Boatwright passed away on Friday, October 28, 2016 at the age of 77 years. Beloved husband of Elaine Boatwright for 56 years. Father of Sabrina Palmisano (Larry), Ricky Boatwright (the late Dawn), Stephanie Davis, and Christian Meacham (Jeramy). Son of the late Agnes and Clifton Boatwright. Step-son of the late Jim Bryant. Brother of Clifton E. Boatwright and the late Dorothy Edwards, and David N. Bryant. Step-brother of Lorine Rachel and Ruthie Pertuit. Also survived by 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 1 step-great grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews. He was an employee of Continental Grain and Cargil for 43 years and an active member of Holy Guardian Angels Catholic Church, the Men's Club and King of the Bridge City Gumbo Festival in 1990. He will be sadly missed by all. He was a native of Alexandria, LA and a resident of Bridge City and Nine Mile Point for the past 55 years. Relatives and friends of the family, also members of Holy Guardian Angels Parish family, West Jefferson Fitness Center and Sunrise Swim Club are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Holy Guardian Angels Catholic Church, Bridge City, LA on Monday, October 31, 2016 at 1pm. Visitation will be held at the church from 10am until 1pm. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Family and friends may view and sign the online guest book at www.mothefunerals.com .
