Joan White Hegmann passed away on March 28, 2012. She was a housewife, attended Ball High School in Galveston, TX and University of Texas, Member of Union Carbide Ever Readies, Empty Nesters, St. Thomas Moore K.C. Auxiliary, and extraordinary minister of communion at Visitation of Our Lady Catholic Church. Beloved wife of Edward William Hegmann, Jr. for 59 years. Mother of Michael Hegmann ( Constance ), Mary Even (James), Kenneth Hegmann, Bret Hegmann (Jane), and Steven Hegmann (Vaune). Daughter of the late Dudley L. White and Cecelia Sheppard White. Sister of Claudia Francis. Sister-in-law of Ann Jircik. Grandmother of Thomas, Brian, Rachel, and Christina Even. Also grandmother of Sarah, Rebecca, Eric, Lucas, and Sophia Hegmann, and 12 great grandchildren. Age 78 years, a native of Galveston , TX and resident of Marrero , LA. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at Visitation of Our Lady Catholic Church, 3520 Ames Blvd , Marrero , LA on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 11 AM. Interment will be private. Visitation will be at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd. , Marrero , LA on Friday, March 30, 2012 from 6 PM until 9 PM and again on Saturday from 9 AM until 10:30 AM.
