Joan Margaret Leonard Castille peacefully entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 9, 2015 at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late Eugene J. Castille, Jr. Daughter of the late Stanley L. Leonard and Ora Mae Bouchon Leonard. Loving mother of Eugene J. Castille III (Wife Beth), Michael L. Castille (Wife Michelle), Paul B. Castille (Wife Kim), Margaret M. Castille and Stephen G. Castille (Wife Tina). Adored grandmother of Andrew Castille (Wife Mollie), Ryan Castille, Shannon Castille, Jeffery Castille, Shane Paternostro (Wife Lindsey), Michael Christiana (Wife Jessieca), Amanda Reinke (Husband Kris), Peter Grisaffe and Katie Grisaffe. Also survived by 12 great grandchildren, 1 expectant great grandchild as well as many nieces and nephews. Sister of Jane Leonard Wingerter (Husband, the late Austin). Sister-in-law of Bernice Andry (Husband, the late Walter), Norma Landry (Husband, the late Marion) and the late Doris Hagy (Survived by Husband, Richard). Joan was a lifelong resident of Algiers, LA. She was a Charter Member of the Catholic Daughters of America and Rosary Group Court 2165, Sultanas of Aragon, Westside Golden Agers, Westbank Genealogy, Genealogy West, Holy Name of Mary Class of 1949 Lunch Group and Ladies of Stonebridge at Ladies Ballroom BINGO Group. In lieu of flowers, Masses preferred in memory of Joan. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Friday, November 13, 2015 from 6PM until 10PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Saturday, November 14, 2015 from 8AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 11AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
