Joan Turlich Lopez

Joan Turlich Lopez, a resident of Belle Chasse, LA, passed away on February 28, 2011 at the age of 79 years. Beloved wife of 56 years to L.J. Lopez. Mother of Kevin J. Lopez (wife, Laurie) and the late Jeffery L. Lopez (wife, Donna). Grandmother of Jeremy, Ashleigh and Nikki Lopez. Sister of Harry, Bruce and Gene Buras. Preceded in death by parents, Jack Turlich, Marie Buras and step-father Henry M. Buras. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives, friends and employees of Plaquemines Parish School Board, the former Delta Bank and Plaquemines Council on Aging are invited to attend the visitation at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 8968 Highway 23 in Belle Chasse on Thursday, March 3, 2011 from 9:30 AM to 12 Noon.
