Joan Ann Walker

Joan Ann Walker, 83, died Friday, November 3, 2023.  Joan was born in New Orleans and lived in Westwego.

Mrs. Walker is preceded in death by her loving husband Rudy Walker, Sr., her parents Warren Cheramie and Lorraine Ouber Cheramie and her son Patrick Walker.

Her children Jan St. Pierre (David), Marc Walker (Pennie), Todd Walker (Veronica), Timothy Walker (Michel), Michael Walker and Rudy Walker Jr. (Thereza)

Her brothers Warren and Eugene Cheramie and Joseph Burger and her sisters Carolyn Verden, Marlene Heaton, Linda Alexander, Mary Delaune, Dianne Hebert, Karen Cheramie, Toni Bennett, Charleen Berger, Trudy Rippy and Betty Burnette. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Walker loved to sew, play cards, cook and spend time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.

The family will receive friends on Friday November 10^th from 11:30 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd, Marrero, LA. A service will be celebrated at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow in Our Lady of Prompt Succor. Arrangements by Mothe Funeral Home.
