Joann Lee Lindsey

JoAnn Lee Lindsey, 74, received her angel wings on Sunday, May 3, 2015 after a courageous 10 year battle with Lung Cancer and COPD. Momma Jo/JoJo as she was known to many was a native of Kentwood, LA and resident of Gretna for the last 68 years. The daughter of the late Annie Lou Alford (Breeland) and the late Newton B. Lindsey of Kentwood, LA. Former wife of the late Anthony Templet. Left to carry her legacy are 4 daughters: Susan A. Templet-Martin, Julie T. Demster (husband Jack), Bonnie M. Templet and Annie Lou T. Richard (husband LJ) and one son: Tony A. Templet. She was blessed with 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Also remaining is one nephew, Charles D Lindsey (Eunice) from her only brother, the late Charles Lindsey. Along with a host of great nieces, nephews and cousins.
All are invited to attend her farewell services at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Saturday, May 9, 2015, visitation from 9 AM to 11 AM and services will follow.
