Joanne Moore Powell

Joanne Moore Powell passed away on December 7, 2011. Beloved wife of Edwin “Eddie” Powell. Mother of Sherry Flores (Bill), Lois Osorio (Jario), Fred Evans, Henry Evans, Andrea Barrere and Josh Lulue. Daughter of the late Robert Clifford Moore and Ruby DeShazo Conrad. Step-daughter of Mary Evelyn Plumlee Moore and the late Robert T. Conrad, Sr. Daughter in law of Ruth Powell Read, Bill Read and the late Luther Powell. Sister of Mary Walker, Robert, Bruce and Tommy Conrad, Darlene Bairnsfather, Terry Williams, Michael Moore, Sherry Reed, Sharon Moore and Karen Miller. Also survived by 13 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was 65 years of age and resided in Terrytown, LA for the past 18 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Saturday, December 17, 2011 from 11 AM to 1 PM.
