Johanna Rodi Encalade passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2015. Beloved wife of the late August L. Encalade. Mother of Viola E. Duplessis (the late Allen), Vivian E. Gregoire, Deborah E. Denese (Donald), and Cary Encalade (Goldie). Grandmother of Nona, Collene, Bridgette, Blake, Bonnie, Danielle, April, and Carrie Lynn. Great-grandmother of Aldo Jr., Brooke, Shae, Trent, Nikko, Brock, Bryce, Brayden, Taylor, Tyler, Alaina, Briee, Bryce Jr., Brayden, Braxton, Sunday, and Mercy. Great-great-grandmother of Brody. Daughter of the late Johanna Algero Rodi and Leonard Rodi. Predeceased by four sisters and five brothers. Special thanks to Americare Hospice for their support, especially Danielle and Elenora.
Age 94 years, a native of Plaquemines Parish and resident of Marrero, LA for the past 10 years.
Relatives and Friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Friday, July 3, 2015 at 1 PM.
