John M. Aguilar, manager of various restaurants throughout the city of New Orleans, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at the age of 46. Former husband of Skelli Shoemake. Beloved son of Ignacio Aguilar and the late Barbara Burger Aguilar. Beloved brother of Paul J. Aguilar and David F. Aguilar (Melissa). Uncle of Christopher Taylor, Chad Adams, Gabriella Aguilar, David Aguilar, Jr. and Isabella Aguilar. John was born in Jefferson, Louisiana and was a resident of Kenner, LA. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church, 6851 River Rd, Waggaman, LA on Thursday, November 5, 2015 from 9:30AM until 11AM A Funeral Mass will be held at the church on Thursday at 11AM. Interment will be in Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery, Waggaman, LA. MOTHE FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.
