John “Johnny” Borras, Sr. passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, May 17, 2014. He was born September 23, 1936. Son of the late Cora Cooper Borras Roubion and the late Clarence Borras. Step-son of the late Ludwick Roubion. Husband of Earline Aucoin Borras for almost 60 years. Father of John “Skippy” (Dina), Clayton (Ravonda), Lisa and the late Darrell “Bone” Borras. Grandfather of Jason, Jared, Brandon, Jessie, Lacey and the late Blake. Great Grandfather of 6. Brother of Melvin “White” (Rena) Borras and the late Clarence, William, George and Prudentia Borras. Survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Lifetime friend of Emile “Sonny” Guidry. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 from 6PM until 8PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Thursday, May 22, 2014 from 9AM until 11AM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 11AM. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Mausoleum, Westwego, LA.
