John Autustin Creppel

John Augustin “T-Gus” Creppel, age 92 passed away on Friday, March 13, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Elida Bruce Creppel. Son of the late Augustin Creppel and Philomene Guidry Creppel. Father of Enola Plaisance (the late Armand), Margie Hibben (James), Gloria Morris (Jesse), Eula Mae DeMolle (Freddie), Millie Kendrick (Glen), Audrey Rivero, Nita DeMolle (Herman), Ray Creppel (Sonya), Nathan Creppel (Deborah), Cathy Bourgeois (Daniel) and the late Lilly Belle Creppel, Gus Creppel (the late Mary) and Jimmy Creppel (survived by Pam). Grandpaw of 48 grandchildren, 121 great grandchildren and 65 great great grandchildren. Brother of the late Clemence Billiot Creppel, Lovillia Williams Terrebonne, Isaac Griffin, Jack Creppel, Torros Creppel, Dora Creppel Santini, Alice Creppel Moro and Antoinette Creppel. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. T-Gus was born in Lafitte, LA and was a resident of Boothville, LA for the past 43 years. He was the master designer of the Famous Lafitte Skiff. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Monday, March 16, 2015 from 6PM until 12 Midnight. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 from 7:30AM until 1PM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 1PM, Officiated by Rev. Jessie A. Morris, Jr. and his wife, Charlotte Morris. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
