John Cvitanovich

John Cvitanovich passed away on his birthday, June 6, 2013 at the age of 86 years. Beloved husband of the late Joyce Robert Cvitanovich. Father of Barbara Diane Cvitanovich Ragan (Bryant) and Catherine Ann Cvitanovich Sonnier (Donald). Step-father of Wayne N. Mistich (Gay) and Brian A. Mistich. Grandfather of Haley G. Sonnier, Alexander B. Ragan, Maxwell L. Ragan, Lainy G. Mistich and the late David W. Mistich. Brother of Ringa C. Feemster and the late Frank Cvitanovich. Son of the late Peter and Oringa Simich Cvitanovich. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
John was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and proudly served during World War II and the Korean War. He owned the former Top’s Fried Chicken, Inc. in Buras and later retired from Chevron.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Monday, June 10, 2013 from 10 AM to 1 PM. A Funeral Mass will follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment Nairn Cemetery.
