Granfather of Doug, Allison, Terrell, Heidi, Dean, Keri, Corey, Alexandra, Alyssa, and Robert. Great-grandfather of Madison, Elizabeth, Henry, Lilly, Hannah, Bryce, and Kaleigh. Brother of Jeanette Bordelon (Ewell), Brenda Comfort (Scott) and the late Conrad “Tuny” (Rosemary) and Terrell DuPont. Brother-in-law of Joann Smith, Shannon Burchett, and the late Zane and Max Burchett. Son of the late Flovia Duplechin DuPont and Adelma “Pete” DuPont. Mr. DuPont was a retired U.S. Air Force Sergeant, former fire chief of Marrero-Estelle, retired maintenance manager at Archbishop Blenk High School and member of American Legion Post 222. Age 81 years, a native of Plaucheville, LA and resident of Marrero, LA. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Monday, November 28, 2011 from 6 PM until 10 PM.
