John Paul Ellis, a native of Marrero, LA and resident of Lumberton, MS, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at the age of 45 years. Beloved husband of Adell Ledet Ellis. Loving son of Barbara Simon Ellis and the late Vernon L. Ellis Sr. Brother of Phyllis Buckley, Vernon Ellis Jr. and Van Ellis. Father of Harlan Ellis, Cole Ellis, Taylor Ellis and step-father to Nicole Singletary and Tori Singletary. Also survived by two grandchildren, Jaidyn and Jordyn along with other loving relatives and friends.
He was an avid Saints football fan and everyone is asked to wear their favorite “Black and Gold” on Monday. Donations are accepted in lieu of flowers.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Monday, October 10, 2016 from 12 Noon until 9 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the funeral home chapel for 3 PM.
