Col. John Cecil Fischtziur passed away on July 5, 2011. Son of the late John P. Fischtziur and Ceaater Hotard Fischtziur. Beloved Companion of 17 years to Audrey Perronne. Father of John P. Fischtziur and Adriane M. Fischtziur. Grandfather of Gryphon R. Michaels Fischtziur, Chloe Mizgala Fischtziur and Isaiah Voisin Fischtziur. Former husband of Karen Baxley by second marriage and Gaye Bergeron by first marriage. Also survived by, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age 72 years. A native of New Orleans, LA. Mr. Fischtziur was a United States Army Veteran and a member of Knights of Columbus Santa Maria Council, Algiers, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 from 6PM to 9PM and again on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 from 9AM until 12PM.
