John Leon “Scooter” Gautreaux passed away on Monday, May 13, 2013 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of the late Agnes Duval Sarvella by 1st marriage and the late Audrey Alford Gautreaux by 2nd marriage. Father of Allen J. Gautreaux Sr., Joyce Savoy, Patricia Washington, and the late Lois Nickel. Father in law of John E. Washington and the late John Savoy. Son of the late Justina Guidry Gautreaux and Edward Clement Gautreaux. Brother of the late Russell, Stone, Nathan, Aldon, Ollie, Nita, Dena, Herman, Velma, Felix, Beatrice, J.E., Hilda, and Alma Gautreaux. Survived by 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A native of Gonzales, La. and a resident of Westwego for the past 22 years. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Friday, May 17, 2013 at 1pm.
