John Dewey Hansen

John Dewey Hansen passed away on April 5, 2013 at the age of 85 years. Beloved husband of Ruth Trumbo Hansen. Father of Carol Hansen Gagneaux and her husband, Ricky. Grandfather of Erin and Benjamin Gagneaux. Half-brother of the late Marvin Kelley. Son of the late Mattie and John Richard Hansen.
He served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II and later retired as a heavy equipment operator with International Union of Operating Engineers Local Union 406.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, April 13, 2013 from 9 AM to 11 AM. A Memorial Service will follow in the funeral home chapel. Private interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
