John Ronald May

John Ronald "Ronnie" May passed away Sunday, March 6, 2016. Beloved husband of 45 years of Carolyn Bodin May. Son of the late John May and Elaine Veale May. Father of Damon, Stephen, and Garrett May. Brother of Julie Libert and Janice Broe. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Age 68 years, a native of New Orleans, and a lifelong resident of the Westbank. He was a U.S. Navy veteran who served on the submarine USS Corporal (SS-346) from 1968 to 1970. He was a loving father and family man who enjoyed the outdoors, fishing most of all. He was also a dedicated hard worker and colleague at Stewart Construction where he worked for 28 years. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 1:30 PM. Interment St. Patrick Cemetery #1, New Orleans, LA. Visitation will be Friday from 6 PM until 10 PM and Saturday from 8 AM until 1:30 PM.
