John L Mcduffie Jr

John L McDuffie, Jr., of Terrytown, La, passed away on October 23, 2015 at the age 74. He was born on March 22, 1941, was raised in New Orleans and Atmore, AL where he joined the United States Air Force . He was stationed in the U.K., working security and training the security dogs. Not long after returning he met and married Barbara Fonderburk. 10 years later would come their only child Kathryn, but if you would ask them they had other kids in the form of 4 legged children. He is preceded in death by his parents John L. McDuffie, Sr, and Kathryn Cash; sister, Gene McDuffie St. Amant and his wife, Barbara F. McDuffie. He is survived by his daughter, Kathryn M. McDuffie, and his other children Bubba and Bit whom he did not see as dogs; niece, Elaine S. Laurie; great niece and nephew, George III (Jenny, Ansley and George IV), Leigh Cleary (J.C., Emma and Jack); and many more nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be forever in our hearts, but he is where he longed to be, with his wife. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial visitation at Mothe Funeral Homes, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey on Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
