John A. Mcgarry Jr.

John A. McGarry, Jr. passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at the age of 94. Beloved husband of the late Lois Porte McGarry. Son of the late Marie Crosby McGarry & John McGarry, Sr. Brother of the late Theresa Folse and Helen Bergeron. Uncle of Robert Folse (Joice), Diann Falgout (Guy), Butch Porte, Ronald Porte (Anne) and the late Alvin Bergeron, Ibra Folse (Gloria) and Linda Porte (Philip). A native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Terrytown, LA for the past 44 years. He was a Master Sergeant in the United States Army and a World War II Veteran. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend a Memorial Service in the parlor of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at 1 PM. Visitation will begin at 12 Noon until service time. Interment will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
