John E. Norman, Sr. entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 19, 2011 at the age of 65. Beloved husband of 46 years to Shirley A. Norman. Son of the late Albert and Helena Norman. Father of Regina Baker, Sheryl Norman, Tammy Palma, John Norman, Jr. (Wife Christina) and the late Daniel James Norman. Grandfather of Adeline, Jessica, Dylan, Monica, Kaylee, Lucas and Sophia. Great Grandfather of Jadiel. Brother of Mary Neff, Berley Norman and Dale Norman. Godfather of Carla Y0ung. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. John was born in Lafayette, LA and was a resident of the Westbank for the past 35 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Sunday, September 25, 2011 from 6PM until 10PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Monday from 8AM until 11AM. Funeral Services will take place at the funeral home on Monday at 11AM.
