John I. Shaddinger III entered the Gates of Heaven on November 27, 2015 at the age of 35 years. Beloved son of Judith Kliebert Shaddinger and John I. Shaddinger Jr. Brother of Joshua A. Shaddinger (Davylyn). Nephew of Susan K. Williamson (Ray), Jacqueline Shaddinger, Wayne Shaddinger and Rudy Reboul. Cousin of Toni R. Jackson (John), Kim R. Bordes (Gary), Wayne Shaddinger Jr. and Corey Shaddinger. Grandson of the late Andrew P. Kliebert and Helen LaForest Kliebert, John I. "Jack" Shaddinger Sr. and Mary Ann Schaubhut Shaddinger. Also survived by his loving friend Johnnie Lyn Baudoin Mier (Michael) along with his feline companions Coon and Mittins.
John attended Our Lady of Prompt Succor Elementary School where he served as Captain of the alter servers at O.L.P.S. Church. He went on to graduate from Archbishop Rummel High School, Class of 1998. John attended University of New Orleans and later Delgado College.
He was a Louisiana licensed horticulturist and irrigationist. He worked as a landscape contractor as a self-employed contractor and with Jefferson Parish, coordinating all Parish library properties. He loved his aquarium and was active in the Southeast Louisiana Aquarium Society.
The family would like to express their sincerest gratitude to the doctors and staff of East Jefferson General Hospital I.C.U. for their care and unwavering dedication to John and to Fresenius Dialysis Center. Also, special thanks are given to the Immaculata High School Alumni sisters, family, friends, City of Westwego and the clergy of the surrounding communities for their support and prayers.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 from 6 PM to 10 PM. Visitation will resume at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Westwego on Thursday, December 3, 2015 from 9 AM to 11 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park.
