John Vajas, Sr., age 72 entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 25, 2014. Beloved husband of Judith L. Vajas for 46 years. Loving father of Elizabeth Lacey (Dwayne), John Paul Vajas and Donna Vajas Smith. Grandfather of Rachel, Jessica, Michael, Ryan, Dwayne Jr., Sarah, Corey and the late Adian. John was born in Budapest, Hungary and was a resident of Belle Chasse, LA for the past 12 years. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Thursday, May 29, 2014 from 6PM until 10PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Friday, May 30, 2014 from 7:30AM until 9AM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 9AM. Interment will be in Restlawn Park Cemetery, Avondale, LA.
