John Anthony Wilcox, Sr. passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2012. Beloved husband of Regina Theriot Wilcox for 54 years. Father of John Wilcox, Jr. (Elizabeth), Chris Wilcox, Rhonda Perry (Kirby) and Shelli Wilcox. Grandfather of Danielle Wilcox, Christine Oubre (Brian), Christie English (Rocky), Chris Wilcox, Jr. (Michelle), Julia Perry, Billy Perry and Tyler Wilcox (Ashleigh). Also survived by a brother, Stanley “Lefty” Wilcox, a sister Joan Holt (Howard) and 7 great grandchildren. Son of the late Stanley O. Wilcox and Julia Sutherland Wilcox. Mr. Wilcox was a retired police sergeant with the Crescent City Connection Bridge Police. A native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the funeral service in the chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 11 AM. Interment in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 9AM until 11 AM.
