John "Buddy" James Goodman Jr.

John James (Buddy) Goodman, Jr. passed away on Friday, March 8, 2013 at Riverbend Nursing Home in Jesuit Bend, LA. Age 81 years. He was born July 21, 1931 in New Orleans, LA. Beloved husband of the late Carolyn S. Goodman. Father of Todd G. Goodman (wife Tammy D. Goodman). Grandfather of Carolyn Autumn and Tanner Gage Goodman of Boothville, LA. Son of the late John James Goodman, Sr. and Alfreda Gurtner Goodman. Brother of Norma Ragas of Gretna, LA. He served in the United States Air Force for 4 years and was a member of the Boothville-Venice Lions Club. Also, he was the owner of Goodman’s Sign Service and Goodman Trailer Park in Boothville, LA and he drove a school bus for Plaquemines Parish. Lifelong resident of Boothville, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at 1PM. Interment, Lakelawn Mausoleum, New Orleans, LA. Parlors will be open on Thursday from 10Am until 1PM. For further funeral information, please call 504-366-4343.
