Jon David Roberts

Jon David Roberts passed away peacefully on July 11, 2014 at the age of 51 years. Beloved husband of Sandra Fazende Roberts. Devoted dad of Cory A. Roberts and Lori M. Roberts. Son of Mary Dwyer Roberts and the late Melvin A. Roberts, Sr. Brother of Melvin A. Roberts, Jr. (Eunice) and Cindy R. Mamelli (Vincent). Brother-in-law of Michael Fazende (Kim). Uncle of Brian Mamelli (Katie), Melissa Mamelli, Keegan Roberts, Kelly Songy (Shane), Kyle Roberts, Michelle and David Fazende. Son-in-law of Virginia Victoriano Fazende and the late Larry Fazende. Also survived by many loving family and friends.
Jon owned and operated J.D. Roberts Air Conditioning and Heating. He was also a dedicated volunteer with the Track & Field teams for Southeastern Louisiana Univ., St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Hammond, LA, Archbishop Hannan High School in Covington, LA along with the A.A.U. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Monday, July 14, 2014 from 6 PM to 10 PM, resuming on Tuesday from 8 AM to 10:30 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Belle Chasse for 11 AM. Interment will take place in the church cemetery.
