Jonathan C. Broekman, age 57 years, a native of New Orleans, LA, passed away on May 23, 2013. Beloved husband of 34 years to Marie W. Broekman. Loving son of the late Theodore and Mary Louise Broekman. Loving father of Aaron Scroggs, Nicholas Broekman (Tina) and Dustin Broekman. Loving grandfather of Brynn Broekman. Loving brother of Ariane Norton (Greg), Diane Woods (David), Jeffrey Broekman (Lisa) and Jason Broekman (Liz). Loving uncle of Kristen Davis, Lindsey Cotton, Carrie Norton, Meredith Norton, Christopher Woods, Rachel Miranda, Ryan Woods, Hayley Broekman, John Connor Broekman, Matthew Broekman and Chandler Broekman. Johnny was an active duty MSGT. in the US Air Force 159th Tactical Fighter Wing; member of the Freemason Marrero Lodge #479; a Plaquemines Parish Deputy Sheriff Marine Division Reserve; member of the Medal of Honor Park and Museum, Belle Chasse; alumni of Wounded Warrior Project.
