Joseph Arnold Barger, Jr.

In Memory of Joseph A. Barger, Jr. who was born November 20, 1917 and died peacefully on April 25, 2013 at the age of 95. He is preceded in death by his wife, Jane E. Moore. He is survived by 1 daughter and 2 sons, Barbara Barger, Robert Barger (Wife Milda) and Larry Barger (Wife Sue); 3 grandchildren, Cindy Barlow (Husband John), Brandon Barger and Robby Barger; 2 Great Granddaughters, Megan and Kirsten and one great grandson, Colston. He is also preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Barger of Pennsylania. He was a resident of Gretna, LA for 57 years and he was a retiree of Witco Chemical Company. He was a Member of Algiers United Methodist Church. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Saturday, April 27, 2013 from 11AM until 3:30PM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 3:30PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to Algiers United Methodist Church, 637 Opelousas Avenue, Algiers, LA 70114.
