Joseph L. “Brother-In-Law” Bourg, age 88 and a retired pipe fitter with the City of Westwego Water Department for 33 years, on Saturday, May 21, 2011. Beloved husband of the late Selma Lepine Bourg. Father of Shirley Rice, Lena Poirrier, Sherry Raffo, Lucius and David Bourg. Son of the late Leo and Lena Hebert Bourg. Brother of Sidney Bourg, the late John “Hickey” Bourg and Paul Bourg. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. Mr. Bourg was a WWII veteran who served in the Army. Relatives and friends of the family, also employees with the City of Westwego, Westwego American Legion and VFW are invited to attend the funeral mass in the chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Tuesday May 24, 2011 at 11 AM.
