Joseph S. Bruno Jr.

Joseph S. Bruno, Jr. of Algiers, LA passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2015 at the age of 74. Loving husband of Patricia Naquin Bruno. Preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Mercedes Boulas Oubre and Jess W. Oubre. Also preceded in death by his father, Joseph S. Bruno, Sr. Joe will be greatly missed by his children, Anthony J. Bruno (JoAnna), Anne Bruno-Guillot (Dean), and Alec M. Bruno (Angelica), and reunited with his late sons, Andrew J. Bruno and Amos M. Bruno. Loving brother of Linda B. Kelly, Bonnie B. Shapiro, Sydney Bruno and Holly Bruno, and the late Sr. Mary Elizabeth Bernadette Oubre, L.S.P. and Byron Bruno. Devoted grandfather of Rachel Bruno, Bailey Bruno, Lauren Guillot, Nicole Guillot, Evynn Guillot, Alexis Landry, Angelina Landry, Mandy Wesner, and Dawn Holland. Loving uncle of Ronnie and Ava Barosse. After graduating from high school, Joe served in the United States Navy for three years. He then became employed at LA Gas Service Co./Citizens Utility where he retired after 32 years of service in 1995.
Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Holy Name of Mary Church, 500 Verrett St., Algiers, LA on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 11 AM.
