Joseph Lee Checkeye

Joseph Lee Checkeye passed away on December 17, 2015. Son of the late Frank Checkeye and Virginia Callahan Checkeye. Brother of the late Sherry LaBorde (Robert). Uncle and father in spirit to Melissa Parker. Great-uncle to Derek Parker and Deryl Frame. Great-great-uncle to Jace Adams, Haley Parker, and Kailey Parker. Cousin and brother in spirit to RosaLee Rodgers (late David). Cousin of Brenda Brown. Age 61 years, a native of Illinois and resident of Bridge City, LA. Former member of the Bridge City Council for 5 years. He was an avid fan and impersonator of Elvis Presley, and he enjoyed fishing and the Fairgrounds OTB.
Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Memorial Service in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 5 PM.
