Joseph H. Coig, Sr., born October 27, 1959 peacefully entered into eternal rest on Friday, December 25, 2015 at the age of 56. Beloved husband of Nancy Simoneaux Coig for 37 years. Beloved son of the late Joseph Coig, Jr. and Henrietta Saul Coig. Loving father of Joseph H. Coig, Jr. Loving Grandfather of Bryson J. Coig and Courtney R. Coig. Brother of Karen Coig and the late Judy Demesia. Joseph is survived by 5 nieces and 2 nephews. He was born in New Orleans, LA and was a resident of Harvey, LA for the past 28 years. Joseph was employed as a Power Dispatcher with New Orleans Sewage and Water Board for 18 years. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the immediate family to help defray final expenses. A memorial visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Monday, January 11, 2016 from 11AM until 1PM. A Memorial Mass will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 1PM. Interment will be privately held at a later date.
