Joseph Ray Faraldo, Jr., entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 20, 2014 at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Catherine Smith Faraldo. Son of the late Joseph Ray Faraldo, Sr. and Hattie Mae Smith Faraldo. Father of Julia Faraldo of Dallas, TX; Annette Faraldo of Gretna, LA; Nanette Faraldo Middlewood of Seattle, WA and the late Joseph Ray Faraldo, III. Grandfather of Charlotte Crawley of New Orleans, LA. Brother of Lula Mae Faraldo Walker of Alexandria, LA and the late Hanya Holm Faraldo Lockwood of Schuylerville, NY. Joseph was born in Alexandria, LA and resided in Gretna, LA. He worked for J. Ray McDermott, Inc. for 24 years. He operated his own marine towing company and retired as a General Contractor. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Thursday evening, June 26, 2014 from 6PM until 9PM. Graveside services will be held at Colfax Cemetery, Colfax, LA on Friday, June 27, 2014 at 1PM.
