Joseph "Joe" Randolph Nicolosi

Joseph “Joe” Randolph Nicolosi, age 90 peacefully entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 2, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Rita Norma Bourgeois Nicolosi. Son of the late Sam Nicolosi, Sr. and Emma Nicolosi. Father of Linda Ezzle (the late Bill), Susan Marse (Kenneth, Sr.), Cathy LeBlanc (Thomas), Jimmy Nicolosi (Jackie) and Ricky Nicolosi. Survived by 10 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, 3 step great grandchildren, 1 expectant great grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews. Joseph is preceded in death by his siblings, Augusta Viola, Lena Kersey, Ameda Nicolosi, Sam Nicolosi, Jr. and 3 great grandchildren. He was born in Harvey, LA and was a resident of Westwego, LA. Joseph served his country while enlisted in the Untied States Navy in World War II as a Gunner Sergeant. He was a Volunteer with the Westwego Fire Department and a Plumber Inspector for the City of Westwego. A visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Thursday, June 4, 2015 from 6PM until 10PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Friday, June 5, 2015 from 9AM until 1PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 1PM. Interment will be in Christian Family Cemetery in Des Allemands, LA.
