Joseph Anthony Lazar, Sr. passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2014. Loving dad of Rita Lazar Green, Joseph Lazar, Jr. (Mary), and Stephen Lazar (Linda). Loving grandfather of Ally, Laine, Stephanie, and Stephen Lazar. Former husband of the late Billie Richardson Lazar. Son of the late Joseph and Shaffia Lazar. Brother of Lillian L. White (the late Ed) and the late Michael J. Lazar (Minnie). Loving uncle of Pat Lazar, Terry L. Montgomery (Vance), Dr. Michael Lazar (Linda), and James Lazar. Also survived by other nieces and nephews. Mr. Lazar retired from Caesar’s Palace Las Vegas. Age 90 years, a native of Helena, AR and a resident of New Orleans, LA for the past 58 years. The family will hold a private burial at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Helena, AR at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to your preferred charity.
