Joseph Sidney Meadows

Joseph Sidney Meadows, Sr. “Tjoe”, age 62, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2011 at 1:00 AM. He was born on December 18, 1948 in New Roads, Louisiana. Son of Lena B. Meadows and the late Joseph H. Meadows. He is the brother of Paul A. Meadows (wife Lauren). Loving father of Joseph S. “Joey” Meadows, Jr. (wife Jennifer) and Jennifer Meadows “Jenni” Dahlgren. Grandfather of Brandon and Jesse Glendinning, Cody Dahlgren and Tristan Bahlmann. Godfather of Emelie Granier. Uncle of Elijah and Ellis Meadows. Also survived by a host of other relatives. Tjoe was loved by many and was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Tjoe will me missed by all who had the pleasure to meet him. He was a lifelong resident of Gretna, Louisiana. He was a member of International Union of Operation Engineers Local 406 where he taught for many years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Friday, September 30, 2011 from 10 AM to 1:30 PM.
