Grandfather of Amanda Miller Lataxes and Lauren Frederick. Grandfather-in-law of Jessie W. Lataxes. Great-grandfather of Aarie Jayne Lataxes. Brother of the late Esther Mae Hebert, Dolores Biondillo, Beatrice Zimmerman, Bernadette Bauman and Audrey Morvant. Son of the late Agnes Braun Miller and Joseph A. Miller, Sr. Also survived and loved by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Age 85. A native and lifelong resident of Gretna, LA. Served in the U.S. Army in Japan during World War II. Former owner of the New Garden Club in Gretna for over 50 years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 2 PM. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Parlors will be open Saturday from 10 AM until 2 PM.
