Joseph Richard Stolz, Iii

Joseph Richard Stolz, III of Gretna, LA, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2016 at the age of 71. Married once to his beloved wife, Grace Landry Stolz in 1966. Son of the late Elaine Slaughter Stolz and Joseph R. Stolz, Jr. Brother of Gwendolyn Stolz McKnight (Walter McKnight, Jr) and Uncle of Jeff and Shawn McKnight.
Joseph was raised in New Orleans, LA, attended St. Leo the Great grade school and Cor Jesu High and attended College at LSU New Orleans. He served in the US Navy from 1962 thru 1965. Joseph was Sales Manager at Bonner Chevrolet and Lamarque Ford and Insurance Broker and Owner of Stolz and Associates Insurance. He was a member of Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office Reserve and held Rank of Major; member of Albert Pike Lodge #376, F&AM Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite Consistery 32nd Degree, and Shriners Club.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 610 6th Street, Gretna on Monday, July 25, 2016 at 3:00 pm.
