Joseph D. “Joey” Albeanese III passed away on January 29, 2013 at the age of 69 years. Beloved husband of 33 years to Janet Sallettes Albeanese. Father of Katheryn M. Clark (husband, Grant), Joseph D. Albeanese IV (wife, Mary), Licia Dunaway (husband, David) and his special “daughter”, Jennifer Albeanese. Brother of Cathrine Albeanese. Son of the late Katheryn Quinlan Albeanese and Joseph D. Albeansese Jr. Brother-in-law of Carolyn S. Calderone (husband, the late Roy) and Sandra Sallettes. Son-in-law of Rita B. Sallettes and the late Roger J. Sallettes Sr. Uncle of Farrah Woodruff (husband, Frankie), Misty Laizer and Amanda Gunther. Nephew of Ken Bagot. Also survived by 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, many loving cousins, friends and his canine companion, Macie, all of whom were cherished.
He was such a good man and husband through his lengthy illness; he never lost his sense of humor and his beautiful smile. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, family and friends.
He graduated from De La Salle High School, Class of 1961 and attended L.S.U. Joey loved to fish and was an avid radio control (RC) hobbyist. He loved to fly RC helicopters and achieved a world’s speed record award from the Model Powerboat Association.
