Joshua Matthew Nieves

Joshua Matthew Nieves entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 22, 2023 at the age of 36.  Beloved Son of Hector Nieves, Sr., Ann Ward and Step-son of Stacy Combel Nieves.  Loving brother of Lucy Nieves, Shannen Sandoval Hector Nieves, Jr. (Tammy), Jason Nieves (Rosa) and Jason Ward (Tammy).  Grandson of the late Juan Nieves, Ruth Nieves, William “Buddy” Ward III and Helen Coppola Ward.  Loving Uncle of Jason Nieves, Jr., Alexia Nieves, Victoria Nieves, Giovanni Nieves, Cody Nieves, Calli Nieves Gab, Jose Sandoval, Jr., Kade Sandoval, Chelsea Ward Brandon, Celeste Ward, William “Buddy” Ward and Karson Brandon.  Joshua is also the Godfather of Mondarius Adonis Singleton.  Joshua was born in Louisiana and was presently residing in Mississippi.  Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, Louisiana on Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 11AM until 1:30PM.  Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 1:30PM.  Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, Louisiana.
