Joy Thibodeaux Schwehm

Joy Thibodeaux Schwehm passed away on May 30, 2013 at the age of 83 years. Beloved wife of the late Peter W. Schwehm, Jr. Mother of Michael Schwehm, Noah Schwehm (Terri), Stephan Schwehm (Robin), Christopher Schwehm (Kirsten) and the late Peter W. Schwehm, III. Sister of Connie T. Davis (John) and Aubrey J. Thibodeaux, Jr. (Mabel). Daughter of the late Erma Weileman Thibodeaux and Aubrey John Thibodeaux. Also survived by eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Joy graduated from Our Lady of Holy Cross College in Algiers and served as Librarian at St. Andrew the Apostle School for over 35 years.
Relatives, friends, staff, students and alumni of St. Andrew the Apostle School and Church are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 from 6 PM to 9 PM, resuming on Wednesday at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 3101 Eton Street in Algiers from 9 AM to 11 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow. Interment Carrollton Cemetery.
