Joyce Madden Schwegmann

Joyce Madden Schwegmann, age 86, former resident of Marrero, LA and a resident of Walheim, LA for the past 12 years, passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 19, 1929 in New Orleans, LA. Beloved wife of the late Edmond Schwegmann. Mother of Lynn Grubbs (Capt. Jack), Eileen O'Connor (Tom), and Edmund Schwegmann. Daughter of the late Mamie and Harvey Madden. Sister of the late Hazel Madden Schwegmann and Majorie Madden. Survived by three grandchildren, Erin Snyder (Matt), Lauren Loveless (Bradley), and Mary-Brennan Faucheux. Also survived by three great grandchildren, Wyatt and Luke Snyder and Madden Loveless. She is also survived by her loving family and friends, Liz and Abbie Munch, Rebecca Daw and Rene Faucheux (loving father of Erin, Lauren and Mary-Brennan Faucheux), nieces, nephews and very special nieces, Margie and Karen Boudreaux. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Friday, October 7, 2016 at 1pm. Visitation will be held from 10am until 1pm. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital, Memphis, TN.
