Joyce Orgeron Simoneaux

Joyce Orgeron Simoneaux passed away on February 1, 2013 at the age of 77 years. Beloved mother of Robert Barras, Jr., Richard Simoneaux, Jr., Alida S. McDonnell (Bryan) and the late Kenneth Simoneaux. Grandmother of Jillian Simoneaux, Lauren Simoneaux, Austin McDonnell and Emily McDonnell. Sister of the late Dalton Orgeron. Daughter of the late Victorine Boudreaux Orgeron and Antoine T. Orgeron.
She earned her Associate’s Degree from Delgado College in bookkeeping and worked for Term Plan Finance, Koch-Ellis Marine and Acme Truck Lines. Joyce was well known for her arts and crafts, was a talented seamstress and handcrafted many dancing costumes over the years.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Thursday, February 7, 2013 from 6 PM to 9 PM, resuming on Friday from 8 AM to 11 AM.
