Joycelyn Madere Hoskin

Joycelyn Madere Hoskin passed away on June 25, 2011 at the age of 76 years. Beloved wife of the late Raymond E. Hoskin and loving companion of Frederick Gassen. Mother of Charlene Medina (David), Randall R. Hoskin (Nancy), Penny L. Andrews and Amy Galland (Kenneth). Daughter of the late Amy Gourgues Madere and Adler P. Madere, Sr. Sister of Adler P. “Duddy” Madere, Jr., Lucille “LuLu” Ludovissy and the late Ellis “Deacon” Madere. Grandmother of Kandi, Christel, Donald, Brea, Rebecca, Melissa, Brittany, Tiffany, Megan and Victoria. Also survived by 9 great-grandchildren. She was a member and past president of the V.F.W. Post 3750 Ladies Auxiliary. She was also a member of American Legion Post 366 Ladies Auxiliary. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd. (corner Westwood Drive) in Marrero on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 from 9 AM to 11 AM.
