Joycie Whittington Dickson

Joycie Whittington Dickson, born May 26, 1926, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2011. Wife of the late Joe Smith “Buddy” Dickson. Daughter of the late Mabel Coco and Walter Whittington. Sister of the late Marion Wilcox and Walter “Buster” Whittington. Joycie is survived by 3 sons, Joseph Smith “Buddy” Dickson III, Dana Dean Dickson and David Walter Dickson; 3 daughters in law, Diana Charleen Sullivan Dickson, Nancy Duver Dickson and Martha Elizabeth “Liz” Cuevas Dickson; 6 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Age 85, a native of Kinder, LA and a resident of Belle Chasse, LA for the past 52 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Monday, June 13, 2011 from 10AM until 11AM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 11AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
