J. Patricia Murray Brauner

J. Patricia Murray Brauner passed away on September 30, 2013 at the age of 92 years. Beloved wife of the late Charles J. Brauner. Mother of Carl Brauner, Eric Brauner (wife, Sharon), Charlotte Manley (husband, the late Mike) and Cyndi Wilson (husband, William). Grandmother of Stephanie, Ian, Christine, Jerrith and Zoe. Great-grandmother of Abby, Jake, Evie, Murray, Maddy, Grant and Lyla. Sister of the late John Murray, Bill Haden and Mary Haden Talbot. Daughter of the late Irene Duplan Murray and John P. Murray.
Pat was retired from the former Godchaux’s Department Store. She lived in Algiers until 1989 when she moved to Waveland, MS and returned to the New Orleans area post-Katrina. She was a woman of faith and was active in the former St. Julian Eymard Catholic Church in Algiers and St. Clare’s Catholic Church in Waveland. She served her community as a dedicated volunteer with many organizations and professional groups. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church in Algiers, LA on Friday, October 4, 2013 from 9 AM to 10:30 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow.
