Juana Garcia Lampart

Juana Garcia Lampart passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2015 at the age of 74years old. Beloved wife of Ostromir Lampart. Mother of Margarita Hernandez Carias, Cruz Antonio Ruiz, Ana Mercedes Ruiz, Fabian Gilberto Hernandez, Carlos Roberto Ruiz, Jose Raul Hernandez, Juana Isabel Ruiz Mora, Blanca Lelvia Ruiz Abreu and the late Jose Raul Ruiz and Ramon Ruiz. Daughter of the late Teodulo Garcia and Medarda Puerto vda de Garcia. Juana was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and will also be remembered as a loving aunt, sister and friend. She grew up in Honduras where she later owned and performed in a circus. She then moved to the United States where she settled in Baltimore, Maryland. It was in Baltimore where she met her husband, Ostromir. Juana later moved to New Orleans, Louisiana where she devoted herself to the Catholic church and her community. She was always charitable, not only with her family but also with the community in Honduras. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 4401 7th Street, Marrero, LA on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 11am. Visitation will be held at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA on Friday evening, May 1, 2015 from 6pm until 11pm and again on Saturday morning from 8am until 10:30am.
