Juanita Nunez Schouest Clouatre peacefully entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at the age 88. Beloved wife of the late Robert “Bob” Schouest by first marriage and the late Vernon Clouatre by second marriage. Daughter of the late August Nunez and Louise Marcour Nunez. Mother of Bob Schouest (Anita), Chris Schouest (Patty), Craig Schouest (Brenda), Roy Schouest (Wendy), Janice Coulon (Edwin “Butch”) and the late Gail Schouest and Clyde Schouest (Survived by Marilyn). Step mother of Kathy Moody and Lisa Behan. Sister of Randy Nunez, Rudy Nunez, Frances Evans, Barbara Terrebonne, Kathy Bellanger and the late Sonny Boy Nunez, Kenneth “Poogie” Nunez and Dorothy Mones. Grandmother of April, Shannon, Tammy, Nicole, Regan, Kimberly, Kadee, Katelynn, Brianna, Jessica, Ryan, Christopher, Vernon, Monique and Krystal. Also survived by 14 great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Juanita was born in St. Bernard, LA and was a resident of Opelousas, LA. The family would like to extend a sincere appreciation to her caretaker, Anita Schouest for her love, care and compassion. A visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Monday, August 10, 2015 from 9AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 11AM. Interment will be in St. Pius X Cemetery, Crown Point, LA.
