Judy Irby Elledge

Judy Carol Irby Elledge, age 62, lost her battle with cancer on June 27th, 2014 at 9PM. She was a lifelong resident of Plaquemines Parish. She delivered The Times Picayune in Belle Chasse for 30 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.W. and Velma Elaine Irby. She is survived by 2 sisters, Marian Herst(Alan Herst), Diannah Rollins(Bill Rollins), and 1 brother Wesley Irby(Tracey Irby). She was the devoted wife of James Elledge. She was the loving and devoted Mother to John Hicks Jr, and Step-Mother to Brian Elledge (Brianna Elledge), Joanna Elledge, and Elainie Chiasson(Sterling Chiasson). She was the cherished grandmother of 2 grandsons, Payton and Isaiah Hicks, and 1great-grandchild, Jody Wrae "J.W." Chiasson. Visitation will be held Monday evening, June 30, 2014 at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA from 6PM until 9PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 from 8AM until 11AM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11AM. Interment will be in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery, Belle Chasse, LA.
