Julian A. Andrews

Julian A. Andrews went home to the Lord on Wednesday, December 13, 2022 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of 56 years to Iona Hanson Andrews. Father of Tracey A. Simoneaux (Michael) and Jennifer A. Parker (Matthew). Son of the late Ruby Atkinson Andrews and Paul Clinton Andrews. Brother of Paula Jo Gaubert (Virgil). Grandfather of Garrett Simoneaux, Tyler and Nathan Archuleta, Aubrey, Rhett, and Avery Parker, and the late Lynnsey Simoneaux. Also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Julian was born in Eldorado, Arkansas and was a longtime resident of Luling, LA. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a U.S.M.C. Reservist. He attended Louisiana Tech in Ruston, LA and later retired from Cytec Industries as Plant Supervisor. He was a devout Christian and was an active member of West St. Charles Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and also served on various committees. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Julian enjoyed golfing, traveling and camping, and was a talented guitarist. His true love was spending time with his grandchildren. He will be truly missed.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from 10am until 11am. Services will follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment, St. Charles Mausoleum, Luling, LA.
